For sale as-is, in great shape, but batteries are dead. Could possibly be recharged.
2nd Owner since 2019, never used. 1st owner was State of Iowa, i bought from some agency in Des Moines several years ago before the pandemic, was going to start a weekend license training class for the younguns but the pandemic hit.
Always housed indoors, by both Iowa and myself, in storage in Iowa City.
Never used, never got around to recharging the batteries, did some volt testing initially, they were all showing half a volt, a volt, volt and a half, etc. (18 lead-acid 12volt deep cycle batteries). Storage unit doesn't have outlets to charge and never got around to getting a large enough generator out there to try it anyways. Comes with large, heavy 36 volt standard charger. Batteries may take charge or not, i don't know, i suspect they would but probably not last very long. I filled with distilled water once before testing, they were pretty bone dry, i think the State employees were just stupid and didn't refill them, or didn't care because they had taxpayer money to burn on a new fleet.
Don't want to sell, but it's blocking my storage unit, and don't have time to teach a class anymore, so willing to part with. Best to have good backup trailering skills and a tilt-trailer. It's not hard but not for everyone.
You can possibly do Lithium conversion if you know what you're doing, but might want to add weight on the back-end in that case. Or just charge, or refurbish, or replace the 12v lead-acids.
