type: dual-sport

engine displacement (CC): 250
motor: gas
odometer: 10000
title status: clean
odometer broken
This has been a project of mine for a couple of years. It kicks alive easily and runs, but runs rough.

The bike has been converted from the original dual sport to a street scrambler. Many modifications have been done. The front wheel has been converted from the cumbersome 23” (with zero tire options) to a common 21” wheel. The entire lighting system is now all around LED. Body has been modified as is obvious.

The details:
-Kick only
-Bike is 6v
-Has a 6v to 12v converter to run the LEDs
-Battery has been deleted
-New tires
-New o-ring chain
-New oiled air filter
-Rebuilt forks/seals
-LED lighting

The rough:
-The bike has good compression, carb is clean, air flows well, has a new timing chain. It starts up easily and will run, but sputters when given throttle above a certain RPM. I believe it’s a timing issue (possibly spark advancer), but everything seems to be in the right place.
-The paint job on the gas tank is crap and needs to be redone (unless you want it to have a rough Mad Max look 😉)
