I have a quantity of PVC piping cut into rings 6 1/4" wide, 6 1/4" tall, and 1/4" thick. Just insert your plants into freshly tilled garden soil, and press the ring around the plant. When watering, fill with water to the top of the ring, and let it soak into the ground slowly. It will supply the water directly to the plant, and not to the surrounding empty garden space. We have used them for years, and have far to many for our needs. They will literally last for decades. We are selling our surplus for $2.50/CASH EACH. craigslist won't allow for the value of half dollar amounts in the price box.
