Individuals, age 18 or older with type 2 diabetes mellitus, are invited to participate in four possible studies to evaluate a once weekly investigational injected diabetes drug on diabetes control compared with other approved diabetes medications. Eligible participants may be assigned to either the study drug or placebo. These are 3 year studies with up to 26 visits to UIHC, and one phone visit.
